You can't be eliminated while you're immune, but if you don't submit anything, I will have to work out some kind of penalty. I never thought anyone would not submit because of immunity, so I hadn't even made a rule for that

That wouldn't help unless I could get an extension until like Monday. I'll try to make it work but I'm not even feeling inspired because I'm just tired and upset all the time.
Sam, sadly the best I can do for you is a 24-hour extension, which means you'll have to submit on Saturday night. I mean, at the end of the day, since you're immune, you can submit an underworked song I suppose. Even submitting a bad song is better than not submitting at all, cause I can't give you a penalty for flopping, but I will give you a penalty for not submitting.
