The fact that Anouk changed The Netherlands' history in Euroviison twice is amazing. First she wrote her song and qualified then she wrote this year's song and failed to qualify. I wouldn't be surprised if they had another 7-8 years without qualifying to finals. Send Anouk again, ASAP!

The commentator said The Netherlands were in a semi-final with a lot of countries that didn't give points to The Netherlands last year, so yes, if the last year #2 song didn't get a lot of votes from the countries in this semi-final, it's not surprising those same countries would be even less supportive with Trijntje.
