Are we allowed to have an artist featured? For example if the song is the artist that the label is scouting for, can we add a rap verse or another artist and sell the song as a duet? E.g. Jhenashe ft T.I. or Cat Venti ft Sara Bareilles? Or is it best to leave out any artist names all together and just say it would ideally be a duet?

It would be a risk, that's for sure.

Jhenashe is r&b, Cat Venti is a popstar wanting hits and $parky is a rapper past his prime, so technically they'll all have features in their albums, but it's very rare to have the songwriter of the song write the rap verse too. It's usually the rapper that writes his own verse. But if you're sure your verse is FIRE, none of these 3 artists will mind. I can't imagine a rap verse on MonarC or Tymphonic though.

But, honestly, I doubt anyone's going to criticize you for including a verse. I know I won't and I think Matty and Bloom won't either. But you just have to make sure the verse is REALLY REALLY good.

I really love this verse I've written and it fits the song. But then this song might not even be the one I submit .

I'm really wondering how risky this song is because the concept is so twisted.

Truthy, is a song about a monster / rapist / murderer - esque thing too far? Would I get points off if my song was too creepy?

I don't think I saw your other songs @ Era, but the first one gave me acoustic pop teas, which is what Fefe's label is basically looking for imo.

EDIT: I just realized what your avi was. Best thing to come from the Bad Blood MV imo. The seamless transition from her being on the car to being on the table was just like evfjkdc

It's all about execution. Any concept can work if you handle it properly.
