@Sinister: You mistook what I said. I said in the previous post I don't wanna listen to a whole album each time. I have no problem listening to an album in general. I buy albums much much more than the average person.

Okay, take away Elusive, and you still have two major flops by Usher and Gaga that sold significantly less than their previous albums, but you don't stop shoving their so-called "bops" (which is all subjective anyway) down our throats when you get the chance. Your point is useless.
Kendrick was always open for a 'slump' after having such a successful debut both commercially and critically. No one legitimately thought it would do better than GKMC. That doesn't take away from its quality, and I doubt he was aiming for "bops." He released it right off the heels of the racial tension in America. His situation is different from Adele's, Ed's and whoever else you named.
