Yeah, it would be super difficult for Taylor to hit #1 on the Hot 100. Even if she gets 15 million US streams and 35m AI, she'd need like 500k sales to hit #1. Now of course she could outdo either of those with a miracle, but it's not going to be easy.

That's when new releases are, but the chart week rolls over an hour later. There's often lost sales in that period - 1989 for example lost a few hundred copies to that hour (it's usually a super small number). Bad Blood will probably lose a a few thousand with its early release.
Now of course she could outdo either of those with a miracle, but it's not going to be easy.
