Saw a video of WKOM acoustic, and it's just sorta...bleh. Much better with the guitars and drums tbh, she gave no energy into the performance. She sounded good though
But awesome that she performed Heartlines. I don't know how to properly word this, but...when Ceremonials came out, she had obvs only done Lungs songs, but then she performed less of them and performed more of Ceremonaisl. So there were certain "staple" songs from C that she always performed, and there were some (SD, LMB) that she only ever performed a few times I think.
Anyway, I'm excited to see what songs from HBHBHB become the new ones that she always does. Eh it's stupid, never mind. I'm gonna be sad to see some old songs go though so as to fit in HBHBHB
It's pretty, but a little boring and lifeless. The song isn't supposed to be "pretty," so it shouldn't had been made into a pretty song, you know? She did a great job in the studio matching the fierce, angry lyrics with an upbeat, in-your-face instrumental and loud, roaring vocals. She should've kept similar emotion, imo

I get it! QOP and WKOM for sure. HBHBHB and Mother too. I'm happy for her to retire a few. YGTL and No Light, No Light hopefully.
I agree, it's a great vocal performance and it's nice for what it is but WKOM is meant to have a huge energy and anger, but it doesn't translate well into the acoustic.
I tried saving myself from listening to the live version of HBHBHB too much but now I can't stop myself. I hope it's completely similar on the album (outside of the snippet we have which pretty much confirms that it is). I didn't think she'd ever top OIFAN for me but it seems that she has.

I feel the same way about YGTL. Flo has many other beautiful songs she could perform but YGTL always seems to find its way into the setlist in their place. I really wish she could perform "Remain Nameless" live at least once, but I guess it's very techno and they don't have the equipment.

Omg I agree! Or just make it an acoustic number, that'd be brilliant. I was always said that she performed every single Lungs track--standard or deluxe--at least once, and has performed Sweet Nothing, Breath Of Life, Over the Love, but there are two songs (Landscape and RN) from Ceremonials she hasn't performed once. I wish she would
what else did she sing??
