This is one of those embarrassing moments for the Academy. Matthew McConaughey has never been a good actor. But somewhere along the way, he learned how to cry on screen, and all of a sudden, that translates into "he's a good actor" (if you're a stupid person). No, he's not good. He's a competent actor, at best. He always acts the same. He acted like Matthew McConaughey in "Dallas Buyers Club," but just this time, he cries. He acted like Matthew Conaughey in "Interstellar," except, guess what? He cries. But the Academy hate Leonardo DiCaprio so much that they would rather give the Oscar to some untalented hack who learned how to cry on screen for the first time, instead of the consistently critically-acclaimed and respected actor DiCaprio. And let me guess... in this new film, Matthew McConaughey visits "Suicide Forest" and acts like Matthew McConaughey... and cries. No one cares. You've already put all your eggs in one basket with the crying southerner routine, son. You were a fad, like your fellow untalented contemporary, Jennifer Lawrence. P.S. Jared Leto is a terrible actor, too. Why are Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, and Matthew McConaughey still alive?
