I liked Toms Diner too, but it's still not Britney for me. Perhaps it's the voice effects and the heavy reliance on the instrumental.
And yes, I think she has lost that catchiness factor that her music used to have. Ever since S&S she has adapted this weird 'singing' (if we can call it that) style, the productions have gotten much lazier (well, she stopped working with top-notch producers or got leftovers for them)
Even PG sounds like a leftover demo in a way, especially if you listen to it right after 'Fancy', which actually sounds like a full finished song.
I hope it's not too late to give Max Martin a call and save her career, because PG isn't gonna do it.
