Uptown Funk should be at 5,779,000 now. It was at 5.609 million two weeks ago, and sold 90k to reach 5.699 last week, so these 80,000 downloads would put UF at 5.779 million.

It's crazy to think how much harder it's become to reach sales milestones recently. If this were 2013, Shut Up And Dance, Earned It and See You Again would all easily be 2x platinum by now. Trap Queen might have even been pretty close too.

I think there is a decent chance the first full week after the BBMA's we will have both a Rock song (albeit Alternative) with "Shut Up And Dance," and a Country song(s), with "Girl Crush" and/or Luke Bryan's leadoff song. Girl Crush should finally get its streaming going after Sunday night, and non-Country radio will be more likely to add the song.
LBT could perform the more uptempo version of the song Rico talked about, since that is what their label is servicing to AC/Hot AC/Top 40. Luke Bryan has reached the Top 25 on streaming before, so even with the increased numbers needed to enter the Top 50 now, he should at least chart on ODS and HSS.

Okay. Since there is a decent chance "Uptown Funk" could tie or break the longevity record for the Top 5 & Top 10, I went back and recorded the 32 week Top 10 history of the current Top 5 & Top 10 record holder, LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live"

Now here's Uptown Funk to date:

How Do I Live spent 4 weeks at its peak of #2,16 weeks in the Top 3, a record-setting 25 weeks in the Top 5, and a record setting 32 weeks in the Top 10. Uptown Funk spent a record setting 21 weeks in the Top 3 (unless it sneaks back up there), so far 23 weeks in the Top 5 (second place all time), and so far 24 weeks in the Top 10 as it falls to #4 this week.
So to tie the Top 5 record UF needs 2 more weeks, and 3 more weeks to break it. To tie the Top 10 record UF needs 8 more weeks and 9 weeks to break it. If UF could also break the Top 5 record with 26 weeks, that would be a solid 6 months in the Top 5. That's possible with BBMA exposure from nominations, but not certain at this point. 33 weeks in the Top 10 is 7.5 months.
HDIL spent 61 weeks in the Top 40, which held the record for 11 years (2009) until "I'm Yours" spent 62 weeks in the Top 40. Last year (2014), "Radioactive" broke that record with 63 weeks. It's way too soon to speculate on UF's Top 40 longevity, so I'm just posting these numbers as the Top 3 longest Top 40 runs. And no, I'm not up to doing the entire Top 40 history for all three songs. As for the Hot 100 record, since UF reached the Top 40 in just its 2nd week, I think Radioactive's 87 week record is safe.

if not close...then when the video releases I think top 5 is on lock...not sure it can go higher than top 3 at the moment with those massive 3 songs that won't die down soon.

Before Chains was officially re-released (with a radio release), the video had ~12M views.
So it did gain like 60% since the re-release. However Nick doesn't have a strong streaming power.
