I think at this point in time, Gaga would benefit from (controlled, reasonable) hype. "Surprise releases" are cliche already, and she doesn't need "pulls a Beyonce" in her headlines.

I'm keen for teaser a few weeks in advance. Maybe it's a music clip, maybe it's a photo of her new look, maybe it's an ambiguous 'winter is coming'-esque tease. Get people talking and ready.

'Queen Gaga' would be a bloody brilliant show that i'm patiently waiting for (wasn't a fan of that performance she did with them last year though - messy).

Gaga and KISS would be a lot of fun for a one off show.

For individuals...she'd die happy to have a Gaga/Bowie show, a Gaga/Elton project is inevitable, as is Gaga/Madonna at some point. It'd be cool to have a Gaga/McCartney Beatle performance or tribute to Lennon.

If it was a pop joint tour...the only one's I'd want to see would be Gaga/Beyonce, Gaga/Madonna, maybe Gaga/Bruno or /Timberlake.
