That is not true. I don't know about the rest of Europe but Pon De Replay, SOS, and especially Unfaithful were decent-sized hits in The Netherlands. But yes, Umbrella made her much more popular everywhere. Anyhow, she's over now so who cares?
It's been 17 hours or so since this premiered and I'm still pissed. When I first saw it I thought I accidentally clicked on a behind the scenes video that had been uploaded simultaneously.
Fans were expecting such a great pop video after the teaser and especially after AAY's video treatment. It's bad enough that she decided a paycheck & publicity from Tinder was more important than giving her fans a true music video but I can't believe she pulled such a publicity stunt. This is something a Kardashian would do. Then of course, she insinuated that the idea of her filming her Tinder dates was ridiculous (and we all defended her integrity declaring she wouldn't stoop so low) and we end up with this infomercial spliced in between a great video. I feel played.
She wanted a relatable video but if you're shoving an advertisement down our throats every 30 seconds it is anything but.
This really is just so desperate and fame-whorish. Get it together Hilary, you're losing it. This album better be a Grammy winning masterpiece after this.
