This was honestly one of the best episodes of the entire season and it's all thanks to the glorious tribal council and all the subtle Dan trolling the editors did. Didn't Probst say that the advantage works out quite nicely? I mean, it worked out quite nicely for us viewers seeing Dan blow it, like we knew he would, but the extra vote didn't change a thing. Anyway, it was hilarious to watch him still not get it and think he played a "respectable" game. He was a joke. Stubborn, abrasive, rude, caught up in his emotions. It was so nice to see one of the biggest goats of all time finally be slayed, but I admit I was sort of looking forward to the jury ripping him a new one in the end, since I thought he would get there. All he needed to do was work with Mike this vote and fate could have been different. What kind of superfan doesn't account for the facts that people are going to be coming for him because of his advantage and Carolyn may have an idol? The white collar idol hadn't been played yet. Then he fails the realize the kind of power Mike has this late in the game wearing the immunity necklace.
The only hopes left to rectify this season are clearly Mike and Carolyn, but I'm pulling for Mike. Carolyn's gameplay thus far has been impressive, though. Sadly, it seems like both of them are either going to need to pull in Sierra or continue to win immunities to make it to the end. I think one of them will be able to make it happen. We might even be able to tell by the editing next week. It was so obvious that Mike was winning the challenge tonight.
Rodney and Sierra are in interesting spots because they're still there but are both non-factors, to a degree. Their game plans are so apparent now, especially with Dan being out. It seems like they're going to want to take out Mike and Carolyn and sit in the end with each other by default, along with Will (of course). But, with the story we've been shown, there's no way that's going to pan out for them. They both suck too much. Oh, and Will? He'll get to the end, but hopefully be torn apart at both the final tribal and the reunion. Can't wait!

With only one draft update remaining I predict a photo finish between Iman & Stevie next week.

Come on, Mike!
(or Sierra/Will, I guess)
