You're comparing a rough demo from a 15 year old amateur to the final studio version sung by a professional?
And I was clearly not serious when I called her that, since I was talking about
Billboard being messy, but it's good to know where your loyalties lie. Just when I thought I had another Britney+Avril stan I could hang with.

The fact is that Breakaway brought back her career in a big way and ushered in her one and only peak. Idk why she was referring to it as something to "tide" people over when her album would be named after it - maybe she doesn't like the fact that she's forever indebted to the Empress for her success after making a career out of singing all her rejects.
Seriously tho, I love both Avril and Kelly but I still prefer Avril. Nicer ≠ Better.
