Third eye is the truest scripture. I love how Ceremonials was liberating and exorcising her demons in a sad, negative moody way, and these ones so far seem to do the same but happily. The dog days are truly over.
BUT I hope there's not too much happiness. Is that bad? If the year is as chaotic and sad as she said, we should still be getting quiet a few depressing songs. Watch QOP be a dramatic ballad

her songs are never lana del rey sad and depressing, her songs are a journey, thats what i like about her discography.

- What is Queen of Peace about, a snippet of lyrics, anything you can say about the theme of the song? Is it an upbeat song, happy, what does it sound like, old florence or new, etc. Anything about its sound!
- Are the strings in Various Storms & Saints very present? Is it huge and epic? What does the song sound like? Do you have an idea of what it is about
- Is Delilah a sad song? What emotion describes it? Is it dark, slow, fast? Rock-y or electronic? Guitar-heavy? Do you have an idea of what it is about? Is it alluding to the Hebrew story of Sampson and Delilah?
- Long & Lost was described as upbeat and easily re-listenable. Is it fun and happy? It's short, does it feel too short? Anything about it, either sound-wise or lyrically/thematically!
- Can you tell us anything about Caught? We don't know anything
- In Third Eye, does she shout the verses and final hook ("i'm the same, i'm the same, i'm trying to change!") like she does in live performances
- Mother was described as psychedelic blues. What do you think? good description? is there growth/dyanmics/crescendos in it? It's the longest track, so does it feel long? What is it about? Is it quiet or loud, fast or slow, happy or sad? Does it "feel" like an album closer?

The album is very different and laid-back as a whole. Queen Of Peace is EPIC and soooo beautiful. Various Storms is a ballad, quite minimalistic. Some will like it, some - not.

WOW! minimalistic, as in, sounds like St Jude (in terms of how quiet it is)? are the stringed instruments prominent on the track, or not so much?

Not exactly like St Jude, there are some beautiful strings, amazing guitar, the emotion is quite intense and tragic. St Jude is the most quiet song on the album.

And QOP is not like SIO. Forget about all the comparisons. It's a totally different beast. It's kinda dancey, the melody is folky, very Stevie Nicks, there's a brass section melody that will blow you away.
