We're spoiled and we're use to it. That's why we dragged the hell out of her 2014 Grammy performance. For any other girl that would've have slayed lives, but for Bey is was just not up to par. Especially given how hard the album had just punched.
I'll never take her for granted. And I'll never settle for "well at least she tried" or "she has nothing to prove". Naw, bitch better bring it every time or not even bother.
Same here, and I thought she would never top this, but then she delivered this:
There will never come a time when I wont get goosebumps watching this. The utter SLAYAGE! ANd other stanbases dare to shade her. There's no one in the business who can touch her energy-wise. Sure, Pink is a great performer in her own right, I adore what she put out there, but even she would probably look less spectacular next to Bey who can deliver the most energetic performances ever!
While the VMA 2009 turned her into a legend, this performance cemented that status! After that, no one even tried to argue against her being a legend.
YESS. I went out directly after seeing this and could not stop thinking about it.

It's also funny how they try to call bey a overated performer but have no problem with their faces appearing drugged being off beat and off key
In their eyes, when most of the performances are mediocre, an above average one is slayage. You can see that mentality in certain stances more than others.
Most of the shade Beyoncé gets for her performances are things like it not having a concept/theme/(read: gimmick) or for just being booty shaking but really that is just grasping at a criticism. No one expects all the other artists to pull out a Dancing With The Stars amount of different dance styles in their career, why is it different for Bey?
The only other performers who come close to me are P!nk (full package but really not my type at all), Nichole Schzerginger (also full package but without the charisma, intensity and soul of Beyoncé) and J.Lo (but she lacks the singing department and her staging usually is a bit cheesy for me).
Good LordT! Everything from 2:11 onwards is simply AMAZING! The fact its all live, she's murdering that Cee Lo Green song, the run @2:44 (I mean that run alone ***** on 99% of all other artists out there atm), the build up towards the choreo, the choreo execution itself... Literally perfection!
Sb needs to explain to me how Im supposed to praise anything by RiRi, Ariana, Miley, Gaga, or anyone else after that?

I completely agree.
And when Beyoncé performs, EVERY bit of her is on it. Her smile, her eyes, her hair, her hands, her legs, etc. etc.
The Super Bowl is a great example of that. The range of emotions she gives you even within 30 seconds.., she’ll be smiling all sweetly, walking to the front and then BAM, she’s staring fiercing straight ahead, eyes locked on the prize. I love it.
I remember watching that BBMA performance in my bed, mouth agape. I was already a lil stan, but I didn't crossover to full blown, don't blasphemy Bey in my face and expect to live mode until THAT VERY MOMENT. Like, I became legit dedicated. No other pop girl will ever touch that. And for the song to have flopped. Who else performs their flops like that? I'm proud that Bey is proud of her work and stands by it. No buzz singles on her plane. I lived.

For her to have opened every single one of the Mrs. Carter shows with RTW, a "flop" is just something else. It's evidence that she's here to do it her way.

This. And I'm still in awe everytime I watch it. I keep thinking she's not human. Easily her best performance.

The 4 era was a blessing. Without it we would have never gotten ST, I'm sure of it. The way that era panned out and everyone treated her, it lit a huge fire under her ass. Them leaks were actually useful to her career. Only Bey. I actually love when the media and her haters go hard on her. The only way she ever responds is by doing something truly amazing.
So, I'm here for all the BS and all the lil lost battles. We always end up winning the wars.

I have so much respect for the Hive that didn't crossover to dedicated stan until RTW. Like, that was a tough era-commercially. But I was so living for LOT that I didn't give a damn. Now they want to run around claiming it's her best album after dragging it for 2 years.
IMO, the 4 era made Bey a legend and ST solidified it.

Absolutely! Shes always on the money!
I also adore all the Superbowl Discussions. I mean, its ridiculous to think someone actually enjoyed Perry more + people think that this is the opinion of the GP. State-wise, theres a reason why Beys performance at the SB is the most watched on Youtube to this day (by far actually)!
Counting the views from it together, you have
~35 Mio views for Bey
~ 22 Mio views for Bruno
~ 14 Mio views for Madonna
~ 10-11 Mio views for Katy
