Point is, she ain't what she used to be, just like Britney. Britney can still bust a move every now and again, and the PG video will most likely prove that.
She got pissed off at someone at her concert a few weeks ago. Anger is an emotion, sweetheart.

Ashanti and J Lo weren't doing anything huge by then. Britney cemented herself as a pop icon with ITZ and its success. She was replaced by nobody. It was actually the era that showed she was here to stay.

Meh, Mariah still achieved so much more than Britney throughout their careers respectively.
And she's easily valued more as an artist to the industry and public alike.

Ashanti had a ten week #1 and an album that went gold in the first week right before Beyonce came out. She was huge.

Dear youkneecorn, iheartBrit and whoever else:
If you're going to defend Britney, PLS do it like I just did. Repeating the same Kim Kardashian jokes over and over again is not going to cut it anymore.

Mariah & Britney will never be in the same boat. Maybe flop wise, but other wise no.
If Mariah died today, she would be honored as legend -- people would remember her with her classic songs, classic voice, and amazing moments.
If Britney died today, people would post '#TBT' with videos of her shaving her head, dancing in a school skirt to Disney-esque videos, and lip-synced VMA performances.
Y'all always come for Giselle and her Kim stanning ironically, but they're both going down as tabloid celebrities with messy moments and teenage white girl appealing things.

But like I said, Beyonce was viewed as an RB artist as her music was predominantly RB. It wouldn't make sense for her to replace Britney. They were two completely different artists

So when is Saytan Lucifer going to be writing some songs about something other than sucking men's dicks? I don't stan Katy but let's just compare, gorls.
Katy: a birthday, being a thug (TIHWD), ha band member with an international smile, ha relationship with her ONLY husband and how he is a ghost, admitting that it was her fault of their failed marriage, a beautiful song about sex and the body (Love Me), a beautiful song about a love and comparing it to double rainbow, a song about ha praise for God and thanking him for rescuing her,
Saytan: a song about ha love in NYC, a song about how she's a crazy bitch (and in love), a song about a man who has style (when she is in love), a song about being scared of their relationship ending (when she's in love), a song about ha ex and how he should've stayed, a 12 year old song complaining about the media, a song about how she is a desperate thot after her and her love broke up and how she wishes he would come back (ha best song I'll give y'all that), a song about a fake feud and using it for money, a song about love, a song about how to get a guy back, a song about their love, another song about love, and a song about being free (from ha love)
Gurrrrl bye

Regardless of the genres, Britney was that main girl. Then Beysus swooped in and took over. It's that simple.

Y'all call her a white girl, and say she bleaches but now she's an R&b artist.
In 2003 her music was being picked up by Pop Radio, she was a Pop Artist. CIL was a #1 hit and #1 on Pop Radio. Baby Boy was a #1 hit and #1 on Pop Radio .R&B/Hip-Hop practically was Pop at the time.
& it's funny how 'Beyonce being an R&B artist so she COULDN'T have ended Britney' is an excuse, but the same ones are quick to throw out JT an artist who all his success relies from Pop Radio + Pop Audience ended R&B Usher. What's it gonna be?

When y'all swallow y'alls words when Kesha comes back next year and slays all your faves musically with ha indie rock music
Don't drag when your fave makes 12 year old motivation songs, a song about being a pretty coke*****, and songs about sucking guys dicks (Saytan)

She really didn't though. ITZ was released after DIL and it did better almost everywhere except for the US.
