Trying what? I don't think anyone is denying Taylor is number one right now in success and all.
How did she murder Katy's career? Shake it Off was released after the last PRISM single and by the time TIHWD was released Katy had already lost motivation for the era and hadn't performed a single live since May(if you count the BBMA satellite performance).
The eras didn't overlap so that makes no sense.
Not yet, but she will after the first week of her next album. She's only released three studio albums. Gaga has released four studio albums, an EP, and two remix albums so of course her sales will be much higher, I'd be embarrassed if they weren't.
The point is Katy is selling albums consistently, and not experiencing a decline with every release like Gaga so she will surely still sell millions with her next era, the case isn't as strong for Gaga.
Just stop.
They all sorta have deadpan personalities but hers is seriously nexxxt level. Prob b/c she's angsty and in an awkward phase but still. Her PR peeps will do werq on that personality
