I find it extremely hard to believe members here just don't like illegal immigrants because of the illegality of it all. I'm sure you look down upon all new immigrants. If a stereotypical mexican with dirty clothes, looking for work was around you you know damn well your racist ass would steer clear. Even if they told you they were legal and had the papers to prove it you would still hate them because something in your mind is just wired that way. I don't know how I mean I can't explain homophobia how am I supposed to explain racism.

Immigrants are not being oppressed or prevented from doing something unfairly. They are willingly breaking the law and coming to the US. It's apples and oranges.

Apparently you do, because they're the ones doing it. Go to a field in California and tell me how many black and white Americans are working there collecting the food.

I see why people may oppose immigration (I disagree with them though) but using racism as an argument for that is just pathetic.

It's the 15th largest economy of the world like wtf

Hmm. Lemme Google that.
"Over the last few decades since the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, the term Third World has been used interchangeably with the least developed countries, Global South and developing countries to describe poorer countries that have struggled to attain steady economic development"
Let's see:
From Forbes:
At best it's a "Newly Industrialized Country".

um...you do realize that the reason people didn't need immigrants in the past was because they had slaves, right? and after the civil war they still kept black people in a somewhat similar system of sharecropping for a long time, at least until immigrants started flooding into america and doing low wage jobs, a thing that dates all the way back to the industrial revolution. people need cheap labor from people willing to do menial jobs to pick their food. they always have.

Identity theft? Really? OK.
And they're not the ones breaking labor laws. The ones who employ them to work more than 40 hours a week, while paying them less than minimum wage and denying them benefits are the ones.

Exactly, it's only racist when America follows its immigration laws. Newsflash, every other country has way stricter laws, like the UK and Australia, but no one is calling them evil and racist. Double standards.

I stopped reading there. It's quite obvious that you are a very sheltered human being who hasn't been exposed to the horrors some people go through to have something so basic to everyone else; a better life.

It's true the USA conquered lots of Mexico centuries ago but even if that did not happen I'm sure illegal immigrants would still try to move into the better economy.

The thing is that this is not happening only in the US, I mean you said it yourself a lot of European countries have the same problem. The problem comes from the ignorance of reproduction. 3rd world countries have the tendency of having 8 children so they can help them work and the migrate to other countries for better opportunities while people in the first world countries don't want children and they are just not reproducing much, so in the near future the majority of immigrants will be the next generation those 1st world countries.

as if that'll happen
you must not know how much illegals are vital to our economy
these business owners don't want to fork over the money to hire ppl to pay them properly so they purposely seek out the illegals...that's why our food isn't as expensive as it should be
let me tell you...getting rid of them will make your life worse than it already is

Farmers are able to get from the government and unlimited supply of worker visas to have migrant workers, including Mexicans come to the country on a temporary basis to pick food. They choose not to do this b/c they want to be able skirt labor laws. Immigrants who live in this country on a permanent basis are not needed to pick crops, not then not now. And maybe black and white Americans aren't getting jobs is b/c farmers would have to follow the law and pay fair wages.

Sure they will be asking when they are the majority.
The Government doesn't deport them because they depend on them as simple as that, they would've solve this issue a long time ago.
But well it seems like it's getting out of hand

Illegal Immigrants are not vital to our economy, and are in fact a net negative when you factor in unemployment, stagnant wages, and their proportional overuse of social services.

wtf??? that's not it at all. you must think mexico is some kind of uncivilized barbarian wilderness where they don't have any technology or something when it's really not. people are immigrating from mexico to the US because northern mexico is filled with drug lords and murder and people want to go somewhere else. it has nothing to do with them having a lot of children (in fact i actually doubt that's even true).

|
Goosey I know you love trolling about social issues and that's your schtick but you're being a bit of a mess. "Hard labour" what is this.. North Korea?

They "choose" to do that because the process to follow the immigration laws is quite complicated. And yes, it's the farmers' fault too, I think we're getting somewhere.
