I don't think the long break is what is letting her down. She's too big of a star. It's the material - 45S was good but BBHMM while a cute bop is too similar to her last couple hits. Her team should have pushed her to go in a fresher creative direction. Gecko (Overdrive) should have been her song tbqh.

Im so over this mess of an era, just release the damn album already!!! if there is a smash on the album , release it now, PROMOTE it, and then relese the album in June. I was really hoping we would get R8 in late May like GGGB but it doesnt look like that is happening either. She has wasted so much time and opportunities, 45S should NOT have been her comeback single. BBHMM wouldve done so much better if it was promoted more or at least had a video by now. American Oxygen is just straight up TRASH and is not what we want from Rihanna. Yes it has a great message but the song itself is unbearable and boring.

Stop playing dress up for magazines and red carpets and put the music first, its what made her the star she is today and is the reason why she has her fans. Her modeling should just be an extra side project of hers that we can enjoy.. get it together!!!! F u Tidal, give us the old Rihanna!!
