Enchanted/Wildest Dreams is cute in theory and then you actually watch the performance and it's like um can we just substitute YAIL and get these two songs separately.
Enchanted without 'please don't be in love with someone e-else' is useless.
I take back what I said about YAIL. I just watched the performance and it's so cute. Classic Lord. The interactive echoing part is a cute touch. Lord with a guitar. Ugh this performance actually slays. The song is also underrated, even though I never listen to it.
This performance just lacks energy and intensity, and the arrangement does not work for me. And She seems to really be feeling Her vocal in this song as if it's actually good.
The bridge is cute though.
But then She keeps repeating that same tired final chorus adlib on 'so shame on me now' and 'now I'm lying on the cold hard ground' with no change in register or tone and it isn't as soulful as She thinks it is.
