Yeah, exactly. Except I wouldn't even want there to even be designated areas. Just because of the effects it has on people, which could make others feel very uneasy- like people who publicly drink and trip all over the place.

Plus, the smell is very strong.

Yes, it should be legalized. It would be good for the economy and it would allow the state to control the quality of the product. A 16yo kid buying weed from some random guy can be really dangerous.

Yes, it should be legalized. Might as well get some tax revenue. Its so easy to get nowadays anyways, why not make it safer for everybody? Treat it how alcohol is treated, age restrictions and not in public spaces.

Yes. We eat animals for our own gain so why not test on them? And if you're gonna say "we need to eat animals to live" uh no we don't. We need calories and nutrients, all of which can be gained w/o eating animals. Science has advanced so far that we would be able to live off plants and supplements, but everyone loves the taste of meat so we eat them for our hedonistic pleasures.

Animal testing is a really inhumane way to test out products, and should not be permitted. These animals go through absolute torture and are abused beyond belief. Constantly having chemicals rubbed on them, being forced to eat to gain weight/test food and so many other things that we can't even fathom. It's not fair that they should be mistreated like that. If a product has the ability to be harmful, and you don't trust it enough to test it on a human, than you should either improve it until you feel save, or toss the project for something more organic.

Plus, we live in a time when it's much easier to obtain human cells and conduct research on those, rather than living creatures. Especially when those creatures could be immune to something that humans aren't. Just because a monkey doesn't get ill from a certain brand of lipstick, doesn't mean a human won't break out in rashes because of it. Like, the animals are basically just there being messed with until they die, since that's the only solid conclusion that would 100% affect both man and animal.

One wrong doesn't make another right, though. There has been a movement in governing policies regarding animal meat processing, it's something that's being narrowed down on. There is no way to humanely test on animals, though. As long as it's permitted, animals will constantly be tortured and left dead or crippled.

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with eating meat - that's just a different topic for a different time.

People don't eat animals for their own nutritional gain, people eat animals because it taste good. You think people care about getting their dietary needs? No they don't, that's why obesity is increasing at such an alarming weight. People eat animals because it taste good. They do it out of want, not necessity. Exact same thing applies to make up. We test make up on animals because we want to, not because we need to.

I think this is the perfect time to bring up eating meat. They are parallels. We eat meat for the same reasons we test animals. Most people find eating meat perfectly morale and by pointing out it's similarity to animal testing hopefully people can realize both are either good or bad, it's not one or the other.
