Consider the comparable "peaks" though, and you'll see the type of apparent gloating is over the first time Lady Gaga didn't crush Katy Perry. It won't touch Lady Gaga's second biggest era's album sales or her tour gross post-peak.

I was only on GGD pre-ARTPOP, but let's be real... Monsters had a reason to gloat. Gaga owned the world.
