I'm putting an idea for what I want to express in each part of the song and then write a rhythmic pattern and edit/extend the ideas to fit it.

my song came from the visual of what I chose, the trees/forest. that then becomes the world for the song. people are created to be in that world, and a loose story is made.

I've been listening to Eminem's verse in this song on repeat the past couple days. It's so impressive what he does here. One of my all-time favorite rap verses in a pop song (even if I don't like the song as a whole). The consonance

I'm not too familiar with Kylie but IP is my favorite of hers! I also like the Manic Street Preachers so that might have something to do with it.
