Well here's just a general PSA for anyone who's worried about stresses.
Rhyming words need to have the same emphasized syllables. This doesn't mean first or second syllable from the beginning but rather the last or penultimate syllables or the words. So for instance ago and hollow don't really rhyme (if I wrote it with the emphasis in text it would look like a-GO and HO-llow).
However I do think that people are obsessing over it a little too much. Unless it's really bad it's not too noticeable when being sung. As long as you don't put emPHAsis on the wrong sylLABles.
