He was a Mainstream Radio staple in 1997 and releasing Platinum singles. In 2015 he is still a Mainstream Radio staple and releasing Platinum singles.
There's literally not 1 single R&B star doing that aside from only Beyoncè if you pit in her DC success. But even that is debatable since she's had like 1 Pop Radio hit this entire decade. She's been Urban limited for a long minute.
