Anyway, I'm not a HUGE fan of 2000s male R&B albums. Even the Joes, Avants, Jaheims, etc. only gave me some singles I were able to bop to but they were to boring for me to ever invest in them past that. I did like Maxwell, Musiq Soulchild and people like that. Usher, Miguel and Frank gave me albums I were willing to listen to. But I am not using a Trey Songz or August Alsina album ever again.

Um, his Pop support isn't gone lmao. He's been releasing only R&B songs this era that's why the Pop support has been low. You know damnwell Pop Radio isn't touching Good Kisser type songs no matter who sings it.
I Don't Mind went T20 on Pop despite completely being an Urban song, and he currently has a feature with Martin Garrix in the T40 climbing fast. His Pop support is still there he just hasn't released Pop himself for them to latch to. His last Pop singles from L4M did good on Pop Radio.
Usher is aging near 40 and releasing R&B singles back to back so of course if the path continues the Pop support will vanish. But let's not act like if he just called it a quit and released back to back OMGs and Screams he wouldn't have a problem getting picked up quickly by Pop.
