I’ll Be Missing You (conatus) - Pretty tight overall, but the “I’ll be missing you” lines felt out of place rhythmically just inserted after the two 6-line parts of your chorus. Some language was too familiar (e.g. last line of pre-chorus).
I wholeheartedly agree. It was just really difficult for me to find a way that meant the line was in there at least slightly cohesively. You should have seen the first draft, it was basically the Get To Heaven chorus in terms of structure.
This is already better than her self-titled…
