I wouldn't necessarily say that Beck is more creatively involved. Beck produces and plays all the instruments in his albums, but what Beyonce lacks in creating music from scratch she delivers in vocals, performance, and her overall persona that is very unique. Sure Beck plays all instruments, but can he entertain the Beyonce does on a big stage? Both are just 2 different artists in a spectrum but just because one is more heavy on "creating" doesn't make him better than the artist who trumps everybody on "performing".

This is just setting up for her to get dragged. She isn't overrated as far as her vocal ability and performance goes. She's simply the very best of this generation. But haters will try to oppose this, so I really don't care as long as I'm aware of the truth.

Someone like Iggy is overrated.

Beyoncé has talent but nothing special IMO. She can sing but she's no primetime Mariah or Whitney. She can dance but she's no Janet or Michael. She's a jack of all trades (except for songwriting/producing and whatnot but she's an entertainer so it's really unfair to judge her for that). The media has put her on a pedestal for some reason. It's so weird.

R&B music has always been more relatively local than other genres in music. I like that Beyonce never sells out just to get hits - she stays true to herself.

Bey can do a little bit of everything [some more than others] and she's the bridge between a modern popstar and the old-fashioned popstar ways of divas from back in the day. That's why a lot of young people love her and alot of older folks too. Surely, people would've noticed by now if it was all smoke and mirrors but she keeps delivering with her music, singing ability and performances.... but that's just my opinionata.

Anyway, people thinking Bey is overrated is just a matter of opinion. No one wrong, no one right. She's appreciated for what she brings to the table as an artist/entertainer and as a fan, I see nothing wrong with it. People who feel otherwise are entitled to their beliefs.
