That's not why I dislike Kanye. I've NEVER liked Kanye. Since day one. Just because he stans for Bey doesn't mean I have to like him.

Over the years he's become so much worse and marrying that Kardashian and trying to use Bey's name to link her and Kim (Kim's pic on Bey's wall as inspiration, yeah right) only cements my feelings.

I never said I wasn't happy for him, but I don't care for him or his family, so whether I'm happy or not for them is neither here nor there.

You seemed to miss the part where I stated I think he's an asshole and that I find his music and talent overrated. I'm not required to enjoy West because of his affiliation to Bey. His music does nothing for me and his personality as a whole is a turn off. That is enough to merit not liking him in my book. It has nothing to do with the media.

I like that Kanye sticks up for Bey but I wish he did it differently. Him later saying he listened to Beck's album and that it was great is just silly. He should know better to not comment on something he hasn't listened to.

But like most of the GP who had not heard Beck's album, Kanye was reflecting the shock that Beyoncé's landmark album didn't win. Despite not winning, in history her album certainly was the album of the year. Not many will remember Beck's aside from the fact that it won over Beyoncé's. Her's is a part of history so it doesn't matter.
