I personally don't like Kanye and wish King would distance herself from him. He's more trouble then he's worth and is a fickle, egotistical a-hole who's alleged talents do not merit the acclaim HE feels he deserves.
But he's a stan, and if I can deal with some of the nuts here, who reacted the same way Kanye did, I can deal with Kanye. I just want him musically to stay away from Bey.

I like Kanye. If anything, I feel he's severely misunderstood.
As far as the Beck & Taylor thing, I think he does it because he knows how hard she works and appreciates the quality of it, too. With that being said Kanye knows Bey won't "defend" herself when it's evident she's the clear winner in situations like those 2. So, he does it for her.

I loved it when it was a nice playful joke on stage, he got his point across and everyone found it funny. Then I hated it when he said backstage Beck needed to give her the Grammy and to respect artistry, because his words in turn got her dragged

Pretty much. I'm sure Kanye really respects her artisty and knows how hard she works on her craft. He just crosses the line from time to time.
