If someone came up to you and said Rihanna singing Hero at age 16 is her best live performance, you'd say, well I respect your right to having your own personal favorite. But objectively no it is not.

Of course there is going to be a little influence on whether we like the songs or not.
There will be challenges which are hard to judge and there are easy ones, too.

I am trying to bring as much variety as possible into this which, unfortunately, leads to confusing results sometimes.

Exactly, I don't get this either. I mean this challenge is called stan swap, and as a stan you get to pick YOUR favorite song and not mine as a judge.
As a judge I thought we should judge the entries based on what the songs mean to the contestant and the reasons he/she gives.

It's obvious your taste will influence you a little but, in some entries, it seemed the whole criteria to judge some choices. I am not talking about my entry but in certain ones I saw some of this.

I appreciate all the effort you put into this and this is why it keeps being one of the best tournament so don't feel attacked, I'm just giving some constructive criticism.

Well it looks like you didn't even have an open attitude to this challenge as if you probably thought that from the beginning. Sorry but in my opinion your entry was lackluster and that's it.

Well probably that's the problem. Based on your comments it looks like that was the only criteria you went by. And that made me confused. But I'm not gonna gave you advice on how to judge as I'm in no position to do that.
