And even still, THWWIW is powerful in a different way. The emotion is what really sells HoFDL for me. It's just a great song.



What do you think of Postcard? It's one of my favourite songs on the album and it's only on the deluxe edition! It's got such a good message that's actually genuine and not so obviously fake like most empowerment anthems are.

My favorite deluxe song is easily Quicksand

I've always been partial to Postcard but Quicksand is definitely another one of my favourites, and it always gets stuck in my head (well the chorus, anyway). I just love how Postcard looks at it from both sides. Girls can do things that boys typically do, and boys can do things that girls typically do, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's such a simple message but it's something that is SUCH a real problem in the real world with people accepting what others' do with their lives. I just appreciate it so much and I wish more people (GP) knew about it.

Ugh true, I loved how she didn't choose one side. She is so talented and amazing. If her sophomore slays me she may enter my top 10. She better put Postcard on her sophomore album and release it as a single a la Radar.
