Hillary has never proven herself to be anything other than a Disney/Nick girl forced to be a pop girl, like Miley, Selena, Ashley, etc. Very little singing, writing skill, make generic pop, etc. The only one to ever prove herself to me has been Demi, because she writes great songs and has a great voice and an actual artistic input (Miley has the input but still meh)

Literally shut up and listen to Bridgit Mendler's debut album, which she co-write every single track.
I don't use the Disney girls but I fount ha through VEVO Lift and not Disney anyway, and her album is full of pure pop smashes that don't come across as forced and generic. Some of the ballads, too.

I own debut. You just made me turn on Hold On For Dear Love, which is one of the best ballads of all time by a Disney girl. Fact.

It gets me EVERY TIME. It breaks my heart. I don't think a Disney girl will ever make a powerful ballad like this ever. (Selena isn't a disney girl anymore so THWIWW doesn't count )
