It's pretty literal sis.
You go out and have fun with your friends but you act bored because you're too cool be seen enjoying yourself. You engage in casual relationships that are doomed to end badly just for the excitement and experience of it. You live your life dancing in spite of all the **** life throws at you. You believe that it's romantic to meet a guy and know it won't go well, but pursue him anyways because it will be good before it goes waywards. Most importantly, you know that no matter how badly things go, you'll always bounce back because you're "too busy dancing to get knocked off your feet." It's an anthem of survival and freedom.
