I feel like I'm a better judge of Euphorian's lyrics considering I was a judge and host, and ya know, an actual songwriter. Some of those lines are completely fine. But you take whoever's advice you want.
1. Scattered stars is supposed to represent death and how vast the universe is despite these two people still finding each other, displaying how close they've become.
2. The alien line makes more sense when combined with the line after it. It's supposed to portray a level of understanding between these two people that's higher than anyone else's.
3. Against all odds my eyes are dry (aka: I don't cry anymore) and I realise it's because of your love.
Pretty straightforward imo. I also feel like lyrics shouldn't be so PLAIN obvious.

I think you're too focused on writing a song with all these ideas & behind-the-scenes thoughts when at the end of the day a judge is gonna look at a piece of text and judge it for what it reads. A sentence could mean this and that to you but it might read completely different to a judge. All I'm trying to say is that all of these metaphors & references are all very cute, but you've already been penalized in round 1 for doing too much. Beware of that. I just want to prevent you from flopping again in this round.
