Platinum Hit Top 40 - Week 1.

In the first round of the 7th Season of Platinum Hit, former Platinum finalist Sam Jay rises like a phoenix to the top of the chart in the first ever Top 40 chart, beating out over 60 potential contestants.

Coming ever so marginally behind (a mere .01 point!) is conatus, who aims to Get To Heaven in the form of the top spot next week.

Another former contestant, who now goes by the stage name of "The Original High", rounds out the Top 3 with "When The Morning Comes", and shows that he is not a force to be reckoned with.

Just outside the Top 3, we have newcomer posh with his flashy showtune "Poison Ivy League". All of the Top 4 are safe from elimination next week, and are sure to be charting again.

Rounding out the Top 5 is, yet again, a returning PH contestant, whose bold and emotional "Wonder Veins" proved to be a worthwhile risk.

The rest of the top 10 consists of newcomers ClarksonSlays, inuborg, and lovesong, with "Silver", "Sing of You", and "Stillness" respectively. GotSkill and Hugamari hold the fort down for PH veterans, being 8th and 9th consecutively, with their songs "Dear God" and "Kingdom".

If you have any bets as to who will come out swinging like a Dark Horse, who the flash-in-the-pan, one-hit wonders are, and who will see career longevity, be sure to place them now. Anything could happen in Platinum Hit, so be sure to stay tuned!

I like this, but you should copy the format for the Addicting Members table with the +/- positions after each week. TT should def. use this moving forward if it's not too much trouble (or you can make it for us each week )
