Sail Out: Part One

I like how The Vapors is showing some electronica conventions. It could be shorter and stand in as a intro, but luckily the rap feature breaks up the monotony.

I'm loving the wonky guitar riff in Bed Peace. Very summery and breezy. The accents of marimba synth at the end of the chorus are neat. Childish Gambino's voice really compliments Jhene's.

Stay Ready is really airy and atmospheric. This type of new school R&B is kind of boring to me. It seems sort of wandering and aimless The highlight is when Kendrick and Jhene have a unison line.

...But that SWITCH at the halfway mark. Jhene becomes more bitter and aggressive, and the track reflects it.

This is why I dont like my #8 this week. I feel like it's too high to be bitter and mad but too low to be cocky and gloating so it won't really affect my songwriting. Meaning someone in my life this week gotta step it up and make me feel something
