Literally the only song that you could call commercial on EH was Primadonna and even there it was too messy to be a hit. It's also kinda her weakest single so who cares, the artiste in her beat the glory hog

charli wasn't trying to pass off her album as some profound artistic statement.

marina's just a fluke artist. sometimes she gets it right (hollywood, froot (song)) but 90% of the time she's too boring to take notice of. she's like gagaloo in that she makes out her music to be more intelligent than what it actually is (and the fomos fall for it) except gags is infinitely better at writing pop songs + has three decent albums to her name.

Realistically, none of the songs from Electra Heart were going to be hits. That doesn't change, even when MariNO desperately let Dr. Luke fondle her left boob so he would produce her a chart topping hit.
