Sail On: Yas, this is a much better approach to showing her soft side. Those layered guitars and percussion - that's what I want to hear! It's an indistinct song (in a good way), and I love all the levels that it reaches. This song has a lot of bliss to it, especially towards the end, and acts as the perfect album closer.
Overall: This is the future of pop - well, not really the future, more like the low-key present day pop. It's incredible on both the lyrical and production front. All of the songs are unique and each showcase how talented Ryn is. I'll be looking out for more work from her, for sure!
Song ranking: Promises > Sail On > OctaHate > Stay Low
Thanks for the suggestion, Jorge! I really enjoyed this EP!!
