The stress stuff is obviously REALLY technical and no one needs to go checking their stress patterns and having PERFECT meter. It's only awkward when the meter is obviously NOT uniform and it's jarring. Like this:

I know he's somewhere down below or maybe high above.
I'll probably find him eventually because we're in love.
If you read that out loud, you should
naturally read the first three lines with alternating stress: unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed, etc. It has a sing-songy rhythm. But when you get to the 4th line,
probably throws off the pattern.
Eventually does it again. Basically, you should be able to hear/feel the disruption there. If you can't, maybe you have no sense of rhythm/pacing
