Um... I don't get your point.

This is round 1, so you're all getting started. Of course we're not gonna start you off with a 9.8 average, not even finale contestants get that much. In season 6, we barely ever had scores over 8 throughout the competition.

Fefe is 1/5 of the judges and the other 4 haven't given you averages or hints or any type of info, so you'll be fine

This is what I'd give a kind of generic song, that maybe is a bit cliche but is OK overall. 1-4 are below average and obviously are given out depending on how messy the rhythm is, or nonsensical lines, etc. 6-9 are above average (and typically meaning better than songs you hear on the radio). 10 is something Sara Bareilles would write. And I score consistently each round.

That's a good point, but you could also look at it as having a second verse/bridge could really help tie everything together, tell a complete story, have stronger lyrics that could bump up a score. Overall I don't think the length would have a major impact on the scores though. Fefe was always the judge giving the harshest scores last season.

The reason why I divided the entries in batches was to send the songs to the judges faster.

Batch one was sent on Monday, batch 2 on Tuesday etc. And I did that to make the game run better and to give you results sooner, cause if I waited to send 55 songs today, we'd need a week.

Even if I don't make it...this competition has helped inspire me to write more and that's a great thing because writing was always my outlet and I'm glad to have that back.

And if I do make it then I look forward to the feedback to see where I can improve.

TT, you may as well just post a list of what batch each contestant is in, because it seems everyone wants to know.

Though that would probably give away who is who to the judges.

I know one of the judges will give me a 0, and with Fefe's 3.6, my current average is 1.8

Most of the judges have already read the lyrics, which is why I revealed some of the batches. There will be a full list of batches and judges averages tomorrow
