They should make it available to Itunes exclusively (similar to ST) with an exclusive stream of the album available only on Tidal. Also add BTS footage and extras to Tidal with the album.

Theres are 10s or even 100s of thousands of people that will be more than willing to drop $12 + on a surprise joint release album from Jay & Bey. Beyoncé knows releasing this album exclusively on Tidal, it will flop. They're sacrificing the success of this album hoping it will pull permanent subscribers to Tidal, but people will sign up with their 30 day free trial listen to the album and then cancel their subscription again. Most people will just wait for the illegal downloads, signing up to Tidal just isn't convenient for most people. It the same thing as the launch, people feel like they're being forced into buying into Tidal which literally never works with consumers, they will categorically reject it.
Release it on iTunes and exclusively to stream on Tidal and continue to push Tidals most important messages of being HiFi and paying writers better, the emphasis on the exclusives is gimmicky.

If this is true then Do they not understand this is 2015? There are no exclusives anymore. Everything is everywhere as soon as its released. If they make this a Tidal exclusive it will become the most illegally downloaded album of the year. But people aren't going to sign up for Tidal to get it when you can literally type "Beyonce Jay album download" in Google and find it in 20 seconds.

Maybe JAY Z & Beyonce, Rihanna and Kanye West are all releasing exclusively to Tidal on the same day to really make TIDAL WAVES and the iTunes and retailers the following weeks.

OMG I know it's unlikely but can you imagine if they did this and itunes blacklisted them and refused to sell their albums (Like Target(?) did with Beyonce) I would live for the mess
