I think any forums that would fit the bill are all defunct by now.

I still can't believe BOM erased their entire forum history just like that.

You were there too? I was very active 2006-death. It was seriously devastating when they deleted everything So sudden, and without warning. And I used to be part of this game where we created SOOO much amazing content and all of it was lost. My desperate, pleading emails to the admins were of course unanswered. The absolute worst part was that they just deleted the info that would have made it available using things like wayback machine. I guess they didn't want extra stuff on their servers, but it would have been such a tiny part...so heartless and plain evil. For this reason I have a grudge against imdb and wish them nothing but pain.

On topic: Run the World > American Oxygen. Yes. It's that bad.

I visited an old Star Wars forum that I used to go to all the time when I was ten and eleven (so a decade ago) and was modding games.. it's sorta active, like three or four threads a month but two or three replies, but it just kinda kicked me in the nostalgic balls.

I used to visit this forum for these Star Wars game, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy when I was like 10-14. It was full of custom-made downloadable content for multiplayer and I'd play online all the time, even with my brother. The nostalgia already. I visited the website this year and it's sooo dead. I miss downloading all these cool maps/skins for my character.

I posted there a lot in 2002-2003 and had a lot of data stored in my inbox.

I always preferred the BoxOfficeReport forums tho - BOM was too much of a cluster****.

Filefront has gone to **** too. There is a much better place for Jedi Academy mods.. I think it is called JKHub or something now. Some really cool ****. But yeah, filefront used to be so active. I'd always get my mods for the Jedi Knight/Academy and KOTOR games there.

Omfg, you played those games too?

Tell me you remember the iconic Forest House or Country Roads map for JK2/3. Those were my favourite. My brother was so good with the sniper rifle or w/e, he'd always kill me and I'd get pissed off.

Me & my cousin would only see each other during the summer, so we would binge play Star Wars games for days and days and days on end. This was on the Xbox - before we both realized how much superior computers could be. The multiplayer was soooo much fun. Jedi Academy kinda had a **** storyline but I'll still replay it every now and then for the nostalgia. So many fun levels.

No it really is terrible. The clunky, pseudo inspirational lyrics ("this is the new America, we are the new America"), the unlistenable production. It sounds like the result of a misguided business meeting. A badly digested attempt at an anthem. And it doesn't SAY anything. She's not criticising anything, she's not actually being controversial, the song is totally meaningless. Rihanna has so much potential for more than that, it's sad.
