I have her albums and love her songs, but this song sounds so typical and boring like a bside or something. Hopefully the full version is better. She hasn't released a good soundtrack since Young & Beautiful & her rendition of Blue Velvet. Big Eyes did nothing for me too.

not really (plus it's just an opinion). actually, they're quite right.

these past four songs (BE, ICF, WFL, and this one) are all boring and sound so uninspired. there's nothing interesting about them really, just her singing lifelessly over a boring background. the only almost exception is BE, but even that is a little

I Can Fly is great.

Once Upon a Dream is an outstanding rendition of the classic.

Life Is Beautiful judging by the melody will be her best soundtrack song yet.

This one deserves a video. She seems pretty enthusiastic about it (three posts on IG, one on Twitter) the most she's ever promoted a song tbh.

Exactly. The melodies are so recycled and uninspired. Black Beauty and Sad Girl are her best works recently. Her soundtrack songs have been a big miss ever since Young & Beautiful. We all know the true extent of her caliber as a vocalist and lyricist. She hasn't been hitting her usual mark. I think some people on here are just hyping up the new music. Once that hype wears off, this song will be forgotten like Big Eyes and Wait For Life.

The only reason these new songs are "forgotten" because Lana didn't lift a finger promoting it.

Imagine had Lana shot a grand video for Big Eyes or I Can Fly, It most definitely would have made impact.

Both Y&B and OUAD were attached to block busters. You can't really compare them.

So I disagree that had she promoted her newest songs more, it would've made a difference. She's made many timeless songs without needing to lift a finger to promote.

First of all, I personally don't like WFL or BE. But the new song doesn't sound like them at all. It is way more similar to Bel Air.
