As in a cliche? They're often used and equally as often advised against. I used them so much last season.

No, but I used to write catchy 2-liners down somewhere and when I rediscovered them, half of them were ridiculous but the other half were perfectly usable

Well its not really a cliche, its just a fairly common phrase I guess so its in a few other songs. I might try to see if I can fix it up a bit anyways.
