I cant believe SL only hit number 1 in US. I guess she is local
It was a US only single. What did you expect?
IIWAB which served as the first worldwide single peaked at #1 in more countries than her so called "bigger" hit Telephone.
You're right peaks in US aren't the final result in what is bigger, example:
Part Of Me went #1 and ended at #31 on Year-End list.
Katy Perry's songs have nothing to do with this so you are steering off-topic. Clearly you don't like people going off-topic in your thread as you have called Kisuke out for it multiple times.
I'm intrigued at most of these stans saying chart positions aren't as important as overall sales but that differs from what they have said in the past about certain other artists and their albums....

It's not off-topic, as I co-signed his/her argument on what determines a US hit. With you wanting to be a moderator a lot, I know you're familiar with what actually constitutes as not related to the discussion.

I remember Drunk In Love was bragged about a lot as a #2 hit, even with just 1.2M sold and being the lowest-selling US #2 of the decade, so yeah, I'm sure not all the Hive disagrees on chart peaks meaning nothing.
