Artpop was damaging for Gaga with the GP...she offered nothing new music wise. Her first few performances for DWYW were quite horrendous... she then basically went into hiding after the DWYW video disaster. Then she released GUY, but by then people moved on. You really can't compare R8 to Artpop, cause we haven't got R8 yet...but so far R8 has had a better rollout then Artpop did.

I'm sure Rih got a bop or 2 she has yet to release.
