NAME: Obsession, also Adam.
REASON FOR JOINING: Songwriting is all I do in my spare time, and I love having something to write for.
EXPERIENCE: I've been writing songs ever since I was old enough to sing - I was a competitive singer when I was younger, and I started experimenting with writing songs then. Now, I can't sing for beans but I can still churn out a good tune. I think. I also did PH last year for the first time last year and came top ten.
STYLE: I tend to write about love and loneliness, where one is heading in life and about relationships.

If I said who inspired my song it'd be a dead give away. but I will say it was a MALE artist shockingly but it turned out great two different ones actually at that. I'm coming for blood

I do feel good about this song for sure. It took about 20-30 minutes I suppose? I started out with the chorus and wrote the rest of the song around that. I don't really edit that much, but I do change a few words every now and again.

Oh that's nice. I normally start with the chorus too but for some reason that method doesn't work for me anymore. Now it's always the first verse and then prechorus (I have no idea why I am so obsessed with them, I blame Tove Lo I guess lol) and then the chorus.

Well, to make up for not having a pre-chorus I made the verse extra long You're gonna laugh when you see it but I swear it all flows. I'm such a mess I can't help it I wish we could see y'all reactions reading some of these entries tbh
