It's more than just 'making Lana change her clothes'. White people are able to put on the costume of minorities but have the luxury of taking them off. A white boy can say the N word and put on blackface, but he doesn't have to worry about being stopped & searched or even killed by cops. THATS what cultural appropriation is about, it's more than just bindis or headdresses or blackface, it's about equality.
Sounds to me like instead of stopping a white kid who is just fooling around or Lana working on her aesthetics you should be more concerned about people committing those offenses.

Not everything needs to be fixated for pouty white people, half the reason PoC as a term exists is because of what white people have done to polarize minorities and separate themselves from other ethnicities in the past.

It creates a category of distinction between whites and non-whites, which is unnecessary.

They are two different things regarding one ethnicity. I'm not seeing your point. They don't go hand in hand and I don't think anyone said they did.
All he was saying is that Lana can take that off and NEVER has to deal with the real parts of being a Native, she's appropriating it. What else needs to be explained exactly?
