The challenge is about short songs. The main criteria is that your song can't have a second verse, chorus repeat and bridge, so you're basically meant to write the first part of a song. Whether you choose to add a pre-chorus or a post-chorus to the structure is your own creative decision, as long as what you submit looks like a short song. I would advice you to use either a pre-chorus or a post-chorus, not both.
